A better way
Developing the right solution
SummitUp was developed and tested by Stephen Anderson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, and his team at The Summit Center, a nationally-recognized private school in Western New York for students age 3-21 with developmental disabilities—primarily autism.
In an effort to reduce redundancy and ensure that the most scientifically-validated methods of instruction were consistently utilized, Dr. Anderson brought together a team of experts, including specialists in curriculum and instruction, to design and develop a one-of-a-kind solution—SummitUp.
The perfect testing environment
With more than 320 students and 40 classrooms, The Summit Center was the ideal testing environment for SummitUp. Feedback from teachers who were using the program led to enhanced features and improvements that benefit everyone who uses SummitUp. With more than 70 years of collective experience educating children, the product development team at The Summit Center is passionate about their mission and the comprehensive solution they’ve created.
